My husband and i have been going to the surgery for the past 8 years, and have seen various Doctors, not if i have ever seen my GP but I am happy with all of the once I have seen over the years. Unfortunately, as I many GP preactices it is not always possible to get an on the day appointment, we find it best to go into the practice to do so, as telephone calls can take ages and more often then not by the time you get through no appointments left. They now have a Online booking system which is very helpful, you can also re order perscriptions online, good for those who can work with computers and know what they are doing. Unfortunately some of the receptionist staff can be aprupt at times, and can be loud on the phone, once overheard part of a conversation despite sitting in the waiting area ( i knew the patient she was talking to), may need extra sound proving when on the phone.
