I moved to South Croydon a few years ago and this surgery was recommended to me. In the begining everything was fine, I could always get an appointment if I needed one. I seldom go to the doctor so it didn't really affect me that much. However, a couple of years ago I injured my knee skiing and when I went to see the doctor at the surgery he told me there was nothing to worry about. He also declined my requests for ultrasound or MRI saying it was unnecessary. Sadly for me, it was, I had to pay for it privately and then needed to have a surgery. I was so angry, really terrible service. Luckily I was able to afford the extra tests and have the surgery privately and made think twice about the doctor's competence. Anyway, now in COVID times it's nigh on impossible to actually get an appointment. You spent 30 mins waiting for someone to answer and they finally do, all slots are taken call back later or tomorrow. And I agree with the other reviewers that receptionist are so rude. I decided to invest in private medical, I don't want to be dealing with this surgery any more.

Suggested improvements
So much. First of all, see people face to face. I understand we are still in the pandemic but also doctors take an oath to help people. I don't know how you can do that over the phone. Secondly, please train your receptionist to be courteous and have some compassion, people who are calling are usually very unwell and it's very upsetting to find out you are unable to see a doctor.
