It is very difficult to speak to a receptionist on the phone, you always seem to be so far down the queue, and even after an hour on hold, I was still no 12 in the queue. Some doctors are very reluctant to see patients face to face, even when you are desperate for help, and my 92 year old mother was only given a phone consultation despite feeling very ill. The whole situation is totally unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

Suggested improvements
To offer to see patients face to face, with complicated problems,and make it easier to get through to the receptionists on the phone.
