I was not consulted about a phone triage system and when it started I was told it was due to covid. I have to now call the surgery before 10am to get a phone call from my doctor for a phone consultation! Try calling park surgery.... Its normal to wait almost an hour to get through if you havent been cut off which happens often. I was at the surgery today with my husband who was having an eco cardiogram and asked the receptionist if I could please ask my doctor to call me (he was in but according to her seeing no patients at all and had enough calls for the day) and as it was after 10am I was told I had to call tomorrow before 10am to arrange a call. I need to discuss test results with him and its becoming impossible to get any kind of care whatsoever! As I work hard in two jobs for that matter and pay my NI which pays for my NHS appointments and treatment, I feel insulted at the way I am being treated and my anxiety levels are way up as it has become glaringly obvious that NHS patients no longer have any value, not even enough worth for a face to face. I, along with many of my friends and family are taking this up with the Health Secretary and local MP.
