Nothing, excellent care.
Great doctor and nurse.
Unfortunately when I phoned the surgery I was only able to speak to one receptionist on every occasion that I phoned. She become quite abrupt and would only recommend A&E for emergencies. If I had gone to hospital it would have taken me 2 hrs. My nearest walk-in was 30 mins away. If I had gone to hospital I would not be here today. I had an allergic reaction which took me 10 mins to treat. The treatment was effective but took time to work and left me very sleepy. I managed to make it to the walk-in, I was seeing stars and went very grey. My blood pressure was very low and if it had been lower I would have had a cardiac arrest. The ambulance was called to take me to hospital. The main reason it was low was because I had nothing to drink all day. I was not even thirsty and I have diabetes. Because I had to ring round which included ringing the surgery and 999 I did not even have time to have a drink. I was told it could take 2 hrs to get an ambulance. They have a treatment centre there and I needed to have a sodium hydrochlorite injection. It is much closer to me and could have got there in 10 mins. I tried to make an emergency appointment the next day to change my medication as I felt that it was causing me harm. I had fallen over twice and had a badly bruised knee. The pharmacist had flagged up about my medication when I put in a repeat prescription. I was desperate to speak to a doctor or to get an appointment. I have had to make the decision not to take my medication because of it. I was not able to speak with a doctor and was given an appointment for Monday. I originally phoned on the Thursday and again on the Friday unable to do anything. It was the worst possible service I could receive. Also it is very expensive to go to the hospital because it is not always possible to leave when there is buses and I end up spending a lot of money on taxis which I cannot afford atm. I have not had any positive results and having needles stuck in your arms and hands leaves bruises which can take a while to disappear. I can't keep going to the hospital especially just to change my medication. This is not acceptable.
Excellent care. I felt care could not have been better.
Excellent treatment, very professional and polite.
I am very impressed with Dr Benn.
