The receptionists are well groomed, most with a stern face, speak authoritatively both on the phone and face to face. They make me feel like I was a small insignificant child again talking to my primary school principal. Patients who go to the surgery are either physically sick or mentally ill, I wish they could have some level of customer service, i.e. a tiny smile. Luckily the doctors and nurses are passionate, helpful and friendly. I wonder if these receptionists' previous jobs were prison guards or ex-primary school teachers.
