I had a DEXA scan in January after my doctor rang me to discuss my treatment for osteoperosis/osteopenia . She has never contacted me to discuss the results. When I tried to book a telephone appointment I was told I had to join the telephone queue at 8.00 or 12.00. I thought this was for urgent appointments. I don't want to deprive someone who needs an appointment urgently, and I do want to speak to my own doctor. I have been left with the feeling that the surgery won't give any non-urgent appointments. The takeover by Lakeside has been a disaster for patients.
