I have had some negative experiences at the reception desk, including waiting for an appointment for over an hour when a receptionist had failed to book me in accidentally, only to miss the appointment. I have also overheard some conversations between patients and reception which I feel could have been dealt with more sympathetically or helpfully. I understand that it is stressful to work with the public in such a pressurised service environment, but at the end of the day, the vast majority of the patients don't want to be there either. Any doctor I have seen either for myself or my two young daughters have been helpful. I particularly like Dr Bunn and Dr Carr White who I would highly recommend as sensible and friendly.
