Following an illness after Christmas that required emergency hospitalisation for 10 days I was visiting the surgery for bloods, but was having another wobbly day. The nurse did my bloods, but also managed to get me an immediate appointment with Dr Dale who was able to help. Then, last Monday, I was again visiting for bloods, but this time had a horrible eye infection. The nurse again got me in to see a doctor, Dr Morris who, as he said, was cuckooing in Dr Dale's office! He prescribed some drops, but said if it got worse I should visit the eye specialist in A&E. It did get worse so on Tuesday I visited A&E. Whilst waiting there, I had a call from the surgery, and it was Dr Morris checking how I was. What absolutely wonderful service on both occasions. I am so glad I moved to the surgery catchment area when I early retired.
