Although the receptionists are usually really helpful and friendly, one male Receptionist I found was quite rude and didn't seem like he wanted to help me, asking for an appointment I was just told it would be the Easter holidays but I was not offered an alternative day, after asking to be seen another day the times available the following Wednesday were said to me really abruptly and when I asked for them to be repeated the receptionist huffed at me. A receptionist should be someone you feel comfortable discussing things with however I didn't even feel as though I could request a particular doctor. Also whilst waiting I overheard to women also complaining about their experience with this receptionist. After finally getting my appointment, the doctor (Dr Ruff) I found wasn't very sensitive to my situation, although I do understand I am young (20) my appointment was regarding a possible pregnancy, I felt as though it was just assumed that I wanted an abortion just being told to start on contraception. What I wanted to do wasn't asked, and I felt like I was seen to be overreacting about my situation which is not the case. However the doctor I had 2 weeks precious was lovely, he was very sympathetic to my situation, he made me feel like I could ask questions and I felt very comfortable. Whereas after talking to this doctor I left feeling stupid.
