I've been a heavy smoker for a long time, and smoking 20+ cigars a day.
I booked an appointment for the smoking clinic, and was met by Freya.
She was quite shocked by the amount I smoked, but when I explained to her the reason she was fully understanding.
What I really liked was, she made me feel very comfortable and made me determined to give up. She started me off on nicotine patches, and said to try and cut down and said don't give up straight away. Unfortunately the patches didn't work for me, but she persevered with me and we tried different methods. I wanted to try the Champix, but Freya was unsure so asked a doctor, because it could of affected my other medication. For me this was very professional, and we started this method, and it's been very successful.
Throughout the treatment Freya has been very supportive and positive, which for me has been a godsend, and I can't thank her enough. Its now been 2 months since I gave up, and she still is giving me praise. I'm still on the treatment and feeling very positive, especially from Freya's support.
I would strongly recommend anyone trying to give up, go and see her if you want to give up smoking!
