Share review of Newgate Medical Group
Called the surgery Monday 24.4.23 at 6pm. Informed I was 4th in the queue then the ringing tone came on waited quite a while then nothing.Called back 6 times again nothing but a male voice giving me options but no connection.
Called again the next day am (Tuesday 25.4.23) explained to the receptionist/care navigator why I needed an appointment and I was booked in for 4.10 pm the same day with a paramedic. Checked in and informed there were 2 people before me. People were coming in who obviously had appointments well after myself so I queried this with a lady on reception who said she would send a message to “whoever.” go sit back down and she would come and see me if necessary.Eventually managed to be seen not by the paramedic but a nurse. This was not an issue with me the fact my appointment (4.10pm) which I was on time for but not seen until 4.50pm is my issue and of course no apology for my long wait. Also I came out with a prescription for eye drops but I don’t have a clue what I have had because I was not told.
A dreadful experience to be honest and as I have stated an apology would have been welcome.
