Called the surgery Monday 24.4.23 at 6pm. Informed I was 4th in the queue then the ringing tone came on waited quite a while then nothing.Called back 6 times again nothing but a male voice giving me options but no connection. Called again the next day am (Tuesday 25.4.23) explained to the receptionist/care navigator why I needed an appointment and I was booked in for 4.10 pm the same day with a paramedic. Checked in and informed there were 2 people before me. People were coming in who obviously had appointments well after myself so I queried this with a lady on reception who said she would send a message to “whoever.” go sit back down and she would come and see me if necessary.Eventually managed to be seen not by the paramedic but a nurse. This was not an issue with me the fact my appointment (4.10pm) which I was on time for but not seen until 4.50pm is my issue and of course no apology for my long wait. Also I came out with a prescription for eye drops but I don’t have a clue what I have had because I was not told. A dreadful experience to be honest and as I have stated an apology would have been welcome.

Collected my usual 'Rivaroxaban' medication, which I have been taking for some years, from the chemist only to find a box of 'Lansoprazole' capsules inside the package. Chemist said there was no mistake and they are on my prescription. Will someone from Newgate Medical Centre tell me WHO authorised and prescribed this drug and added it to my ongoing medication file without me having had a review, consultation or any contact regarding my medication whatsoever? Would same practitioner also be so good as to contact me and explain WHAT this drug is, WHAT is it for and WHY in there opinion I should now start taking it having had no problems whatsoever with my previous medication???

GP rude and rang trying to change appointment to a telephone one when I had waited 3 weeks for a face to face. Because I would not change he was rude, obnoxious. I now have to wait over 4 weeks for another appointment to see a GP that hopefully will help me.

Actually have appointments available that can be book - always nothing to book online and phoning 9 out of 10 times you are cut off.

The doctors and medical staff are terrific; if you can actually get to see them The telephone system is a nightmare. If you are lucky you can get through after somewhere between 15 or 55 minutes on hold. When you do get through, the line goes dead and you have to start again, or you are told there are no appointments left that day (and they won't let you prebook one for another day). They tell you to wait until after 6.30 pm and phone NHS111 to get an out of hours appointment at Bassetlaw Hospital. Recently, whenever I've phoned there's been a pre recorded message saying "We are experiencing a high volume iof calls, please ring back later". I ring back later and get the same message! I've ended up paying to go to a private clinic as it's the only way to get treatment.

ANSWER THE PHONE! Get rid of receptionists with poor English skills as they cause extra stress when they don't understand what you are asking for.

Can't get anyone to answer the phone. After waiting in a queue of 16 for 20 minutes the line went dead when I was on number 3. I then phoned again, this time number 17 for 22 minutes, and again cut off at number 3. I phoned again to be informed they were too busy to take my call. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!

Get more staff and rectify the fault on you answering system
