I received a letter from the Newgate Street Health Centre to make an appointment to see a specialist Nurse re Respiratory Disease Minitoring. 1) impossible to get through on the telephone, waiting sometimes over half an hour and unable to get a receptionist to answer. 2) the letter stated as an alternative in capitals BOOK APPOINTMENTS ONLINE. It is not possible to book a nurse online, only a Doctor for a ten minute phone call. The only way as far as I can see is to visit the health centre personally, join a queue and finally see a receptionist. Looking at other reviews, numerous complaints re above. When visiting previously the Doctors and nurses have always been very good, helpful and professional. It is near impossible le these days to get an appointment to see them. I’m. It going to try any more to get an appointment, thank God I’m in good health.
