It’s getting better at arranging appointments. But haven’t needed an emergency one recently
The Doctors and nurses are confidence inspiring with there professionalism.
I can't comment on my experience as my appointment was cancelled the day before via text message with no explanation. Was simply told to phone and rebook! Not happy.
Not sure what the surgery looks like you can’t get to see a doctor, this has gone from a great surgery to a absolutely rubbish one. 10 days to get a appointment told to get a paramedic or ring 999 if you want a home visit, the appointment will be a telephone one in 10 days even though you are worried about what you think you have. What has happened here?? Seriously thinking about moving surgeries. This can’t go one someone will suffer seriously because of this
You have to like every body else call early to book, but not an issue as the site is busy. Just redial and try again!
Ongoing difficulties with this practice over the past 5 years. Overall the doctors seem to be OK, but trying to get an appointment with them is a nightmare and all caused by the reception staff who are rude; will not allow you to get a word in edgeways; accuse you of being aggressive when you disagree with them; do not seem to understand timeline events and will blame a recent action for a mistake/ommision months or years earlier. Records of their conversations on the IT system is inaccurate and adherence to data protection is like the rest of the NHS, extremely poor.
Of the few times I have had to wait in the reception at the surgery, I have witnessed reception's attitude to patients only escalating frustration and confrontation; these staff should be reminded of their role and tone down their attitudes, it might go a long way to making patients feel a little more at ease and calm down tensions.
