I had tried on several occasions to get an on the day appt regarding my chest and breathing - but all appts had gone by the time I got through. It’s really hard for people that have work commitments between 8:30 - 9:00am to be able to call at a time when you’re likely to secure an appt. As luck would have it, I had an asthma review with the nurse, who escalated my care to a GP when she saw my chest wasn't good. That way I was able to get the medication I needed. I appreciate the pressures on the service but I do wonder if there is a better way to allocate appts. When you do get seen, the care is always top notch from all at Mill Rd surgery - I have absolutely no complaints about that. They are a first class team struggling with a broken system. Thank you for doing your best.

Address the issue with accessing appts for people who simply can’t ring at 8:30am.
