My first visit to register with your surgery; a 15 minute weight in a queue being serviced by one member of staff who was extremely helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, it was at this point l was told to go up to the second floor! An unmissable sign directing new patients may be more useful at the main reception, not just on the second floor? Also, as you are offering an online service wouldn't it be more efficient to deal with the online registration at the same time (I've just read on here that l have to go in to the surgery with proof of identification).

Thank you for your comments, which we have passed onto our Reception Manager to ensure we have correct signage in place. We apologise for any confusion. We appreciate your comments regarding the online registration, however, we have to physically see proof of someone’s identity for registering for our online services. This is to protect our patients’ confidentiality and there are very strict procedures that we have to follow to ensure the safety of patient data.
