There are a couple of fantastic nurses and doctors at meadowcroft that genuinely appear to care and go the extra mile. The phone system is a nightmare when ringing to get an appointment on the day and quite stressful if you aren't in a good place psychologically at the time... but that said quite often they will go out of there way to see you if you have an urgent problem when you speak to the duty doctor. Reception staff generally pleasant, polite and helpful and when dr.s do run late you get the impression its because they are taking that little bit longer to really help their patients. I have had a couple of bad experiences with one or two dr.s here who appeared somewhat dismissive/in-validating towards mental health issues but my current dr is very empathetic and I do feel comfortable being honest without feeling judged. It's a good surgery, or at least as good as any surgery functioning within an overstretched NHS. Not sure how feasible an improvement in the booking system is but it is getting an appointment that is my only real bug bear.
