Having recently visited Dr Alexander at Mayfield medical Centre, I have to say that he was very pleasant, helpful and caring. He put me at ease, and gave me time to explain my health issues. He also arranged for further tests to examine the problem. I would recommend him as a GP. Other staff I came into contact with, (the male nurse and reception staff) were also very pleasant and helpful.
I also find the ability to order repeat prescriptions online very useful. I appreciate the organisation in place for prescriptions to be forwarded to my local chemist as this saves time. the only problem I have is that, because one item of my medication is a controlled drug, I still need to call to the surgery! However, this is only personal and probably would not affect the majority of patients, so, Well Done Mayfield Medical Centre!
