Incredibly difficult to get an appointment if you work. Receptionists need to know TOO much and seem to think they are the Doctors! No privacy at Reception...Receptionists can be overheard repeating details to patients both at Reception and on the phone. On one occasion a Receptionist phoned my home when I had given her my work and mobile number. When told I wasn't in proceeded to give all information to my husband about a hospital referral. Turn around time for repeat prescriptions is unpredictable at best. The EMIS repeat prescription service invariably doesn't have at least one item you require on it. I appreciate it is a training practice but trying to get an appointment with a regular GP is almost impossible. Communication is a one way street...they never contact you regarding test results or prescription queries. If something is amiss on prescription request you don't find out until you go to pick it up at which point you have to wait even longer.
