At short notice the surgery stayed open late to see my very sick 6 year old - the doctor did not rush the appointment even though we wer by then still very very late in the evening. Really good communication and careful attention to detail - this drives confidence in the service.

The staff are always polite and very helpful. I find booking an appointment to see the doctors very difficult. You can hardly ever get an appointment on the day, as soon as the phone lines are open all the appointment are usually gone within 5-15 minutes and that is the same for the afternoon. Even booking on-line is hard. I try to make an appointment with a doctor and the earliest appointment i could get is in 17 days. I also think that all repeat prescriptions should be referred to the doctor, as I have had medication denied an I ended up running out of my medication. I had to go through a weekend in pain. I then saw a doctor and she was shocked to find out that this had happened.

In a world in which the NHS seems to under extreme stress, Marden is an oasis of calm competence and the highest professional standards. I was a 'refugee' from another practice, which fell victim to the predictable fall in standards following on from being gobbled up by a multi-practice company. Then I found Marden. It is operated by four extremely capable GPs. Each one would serve as an excellent example of what a GP could and should be. I can unreservedly recommend it to anyone

A great practice with excellent doctors and generally very helpful staff. All the doctors are professional and caring and I never mind who I see. The only frustrating thing is the inability to get an appointment in the afternoon when calling in the morning and being told to ring back after 3pm. If you cannot call at 3, because you are working in a job which makes this impossible for example, then the appointments have invariably gone by the time you can call. I know it is due to some government box-ticking exercise which states that some appointments must be available within certain times, but it is very frustrating to call, know they have appointments but not be allowed to have one!

Cannot praise the surgery highly enough. The receptionist are very helpful. Its a bonus that we can book an appointment on line. Also the fact we can check ourselves in on arrival Prescriptions are always dealt with promptly, I could go on and on. Needless to say I rate this practice 100%
