After finding myself in a very difficult situation with my medication in Kent and being informed of a very important early meeting the following day in London requiring me to stay in London overnight, I contacted the surgery to see if anything could be organised. The dispensary team were extremely helpful, and organised a prescription to be sent to me so that I could collect a supply of medication from a local London pharmacy. I feel the dispensary team went above and beyond for me today and really put the patient at the centre of what they do. As a senior nurse with over 20 years in healthcare, I am only too aware of when care does not always meet the requirements of patients. However on this occasion I was amazed by the speed, promptness and ability to deliver what the patient needed in such a polite and professional manner. I would like to thank Lorna and her team for providing such a patient focussed service and making what could have been a very stressful situation stress free and uncomplicated. Many thanks L.Mills
