I liked the automated touch-screen attendance notification but it can be a lot more prominent to tell patients that they do not need to wait to see the receptionist to inform the surgery of their arrival. It is also not very clear where patients should wait as there is a main waiting area (podiatrist waiting area) which to an irregular patient like myself, is confusing. It is only after waiting for a while that I realised that to see a GP, I needed to wait down in the corridor. Having a cake fund-raising event on the day did not help to the confusion as there was a lot of noise and activity in the immediate area.
