Last week I attempted to make an appointment at Ashford St Peters Hospital to see a Consultant who had been monitoring my medical condition. Unfortunately it had flared up again causing me severe discomfort for two weeks. My request was refused in spite of the fact that the Consultant had not discharged me to the care of my GP. I was told that I would have to see my GP and ask him to make an appointment for me to see the consultant. I immediately telephoned the Surgery, explained the difficulties I had experienced with the Hospital to the very helpful receptionist who told me to come in immediately to see a doctor. This I did and was seen as soon as I arrived by Dr Lynch. After examining me he prescribed drugs that immediately eased my discomfort. He said the he would make an appointment for me to see the specialist. In anticipation of that appointment Dr Lynch arranged for me to have a blood test so that it would be available for the consultant to see during my appointment. This is the second time in as many years that Dr Lynch has had to come to my rescue from hospital treatment. The first occasion involved misdiagnosis by an eye specialist that caused my eyes and face to swell. Again Dr Lynch prescribed a course of treatment that releived my discomfort. I would once again like to thank Dr Lynch and his team for their excellent care and help.
