Unless a caller is lucky with the ‘08:00 lottery’ they may be unable to get an appointment/callback on the day.
I cannot imagine that anyone rings just for something to do and if the caller’s issue is one of urgency, not being able to get an appointment may be both stressful and detrimental to their well-being.
I have mostly been fortunate in getting an appointment when required.
Suggested improvements
Consider a return to pre-Covid times when one could come into the surgery and either wait or be given a later appointment should their issue be judged as meriting urgent attention.
I would have liked to review my doctor (Barrow), but he is not on the list on the following page.
