I have been with this GP for quite a few years, I have noticed that the service has gone completely down hill. I never get to see my doctor ever. It is so hard to get an appointment, for example my son was very ill when he was one years old and had open surgery regarding the liver. my son has been ill for 3 weeks now with sickness diarrhoea of and on, he has been signed of from school under investigation.
The doctor ask me to go to reception and book a blood test for my son. I was told at the desk they do not do blood test for children under 16 years which is fair enough, so I was told to go to the hospital to get a blood test. I was also told by the receptionist that it is a walk in, and was also given the times.
I turned up at the hospital with my sick son, and then to be told we do not do blood test for children under 16 years here, you need to go to the children department so off I went then to be told there you need an appointment, the next available appointment would be in 3 weeks times, I could not believe it. so I rang there doctor surgery again and asked why they sent me there and no one could give my son a blood test, they said we are really sorry for the wrong information we gave you. I asked to speak to a doctor again at the surgery and she gave me a number to call on Monday and said that would be quicker, but yet again I got though to the same people in the children centre and yet again I was offered an appointment 3 weeks later. I have gave up and luckily I rang Kings college hospital and they have made an appointment to see my son on the 17th with a scan and blood test. I have no confidence with this doctors surgery anymore. This morning I rang for an appointment for me and left my details and she said a doctor will call you within the hour, I received a call later from a lady on reception asking for a different name. can you believe it they don't even have the correct name they don't know what they are doing. I would never recommend Lime tree surgery in Findon to anyone.
