Under treatment for breast cancer and need to have bloods done before chemo treatment. They could not/can not give me an appointment to go to the nurse to have my blood taken, which literally take 5 mins. Told me to go the central health centre, which are always happy to give me an appointment.
When you do go into kenilworth surgery there is either no patients waiting or less than 5 including me.
What are all their doctors and nurses doing?
When trying to get an appointment, it is 4 weeks for a telephone consult.
Suggested improvements
Please start seeing patients again.
Give people who need a scheduled appointment for bloods to be taken an appointment. Dealing with cancer is stressful enough without your gp practice refusing an appointment or telling you that you have to call on the day which is no good and stressful if you need those bloods done before you get chemo.
