Reception staff at the surgery are extremely rude and unhelpful! They are not qualified to make surgery decisions, yet they refuse requests to speak to a doctor, not understanding the urgency of the request. Reception staff and management staff hide behind the "PROTOCAL" banner set up apparently by the Doctors, shamefully. Not preparred to listen to a sensible request, very quickly to fob you off with comment - Cannot Help You".

Listen and try to help first, without harping on about rules and protocols, which are all wrong. If you are not able to manage, sort it out with your NHS contract, patients suffering because of your incompetence.
