I moved to Benenden in February and registered with Ivy Court Surgery. Before lockdown I saw both a doctor and a health care assistant. I had a good experience with both - friendly, unrushed and thorough. During this coronavirus situation I have called the surgery twice, needing to speak to a doctor. The receptionist I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful - and I was contacted by a doctor within a couple of hours. I have also been contacted about my flu jab for the coming winter! Regular clinics have reopened and this week I was seen by a nurse for my diabetic check. Again, really friendly, patient and she totally put me at ease. As an older person it was refreshing to be treated without being patronised or talked down to - I really appreciate that! I am relieved to have found this surgery, because judging by my experiences so far I will receive good care here.
Suggested improvements
Things will improve considerably when the practice moves into it's new premises - lack of space is a problem, but beyond your control.
