The reception and medical team are uniformly courteous and kind. The nursing staff, especially Nurse Croft, are excellent, highly skilled and work closely as a team with the doctors. I have never had a difficulty in getting a speedy appointment if I needed one for myself or my mother for whom I am a carer. Recently my husband was concerned with the after care of a minor operation and the surgery went out of their way to see him at once and reassure him. Dr Paul handled assessing my mother who wanted a Lasting Power of Attorney with great sensitivity. Referrals and follow up information have been timely. I have been under the care of Dr Tranter for more than 20 years, having all my three children at home under her care, and I could not imagine a better doctor. Islip is a really outstanding example of a family-oriented surgery.
The doctors and nurses I've had dealings with have been excellent. Very understanding to the situation I've found myself in, and given me great care and empathy. Than you.
As always care and treatment are down to individials ,not related to the beaurocratic systems imposed on them.
This surgery goes out of it's way to help. I have been a patient for over 25 years and can honestly say that I have no complaints. I especially like the fact that it is possible to speak to a G.P. on the 'phone, sometimes saving a visit.
I have never yet had to wait a long time for an appointment and all people working there are polite and courteous. Some of the doctors have been there for a long time making it feel much more personal.
There are particular doctors that you might want to see, but they can bee booked up for some weeks in advance
