Horrifically over subscribed so it is impossible to get any kind of appointment, emergency is easier than routine but both require many phone calls and hold tikes of at least 20 minutes, sometimes up to 45. Receptionists aren't particularly friendly but with the amount of calls they have I probably wouldn't be either.

Suggested improvements
More staff needed to meet patient needs, or the option to book appointments online as this was stopped before covid and never returned (likely the cause of the extra phone calls too!).
