In general I find the GPs very helpful but with ongoing treatment I don't think they realise how difficult it can be to make an appointment when they ask me to return in 2 weeks though - see other patient reviews. I tend to make my appointments online as that takes less time than the telephone. I notice that some appointments have been made for me and it takes a long time to receive a letter as confirmation. With my blood pressure checks 2 appointments had been made but only 1 was confirmed in the letter. If I hadn't checked online they'd have counted me as a no-show for the 2nd appointment. I've now been waiting a month for a letter confirming an appointment for minor surgery so it seems that the back office staff are under capacity. Like others I have concerns with the abruptness of the receptionists, especially one day when a very confused lady didn't know her way to the GP's room and was ignored.
