I had a blocked up ear last week which was distressing. I was able to see a doctor that morning and an appointment was made with a nurse for my ear to be treated a couple of days later. Unfortunately, it emerged later that day that the Nurse was not available as she was unwell and I thought I would have to wait much longer to be treated. However, Reception rang a few hours later to say that there had been a Nurse appointment cancellation and that I could therefore be treated the following day - which I was successfully. Thanks for the considerate administration and treatment - and a reminder to other patients to cancel any unnecessary appointments since they can be used to treat another person who is unwell!
