The receptionist are really helpful but I have had a bad experience with Dr R Elledge so will now be changing to a different Drs surgery.
I have hardly ever used the nhs in my whole life. I started having a really stressful time and was, I believe, suffering from stress and depression and I still am. The Dr that I saw had no sympathy and offered no help. She made me feel as though I was making it up to get out of work. I’ve worked since I was 16 and never needed a drs note before. Dr R Elledge needs more training on dealing with people who are suffering with mental health issues, I felt like if I was an extremely vunarable patient the way she made me feel and the non support she offered I could have actually walked out of that appointment and done something harmful to myself. I am now having to get help privately. I hated going to drs before this experience and now I have been totally put off. Please train this Dr so that nobody else has to have an experience like this when suffering from mental illness.
