Don`t need appointments. Good level of knowledge and experience among st doctors. Helpful/receptionists and pharmacists and friendly.

The medical staff provide a first class, painstaking service that takes the client into full confidence. This, in turn, generates confidence in the treatment prescribed. The medical expertise and practical experience of the doctors is second-to-none The walk-in arrangement to see a doctor when the patient needs to is a well-tried and efficient system that ensures that the patient is treated when he or she is ill, not later-on when the ailment has progressed to become more serious. With no need to make appointments, perhaps days ahead in some other surgeries - or in the case of local NHS hospitals often weeks or months ahead - the right service is delivered at the appropriate time It might help to promulgate, through the website, information about the average numbers of patients at each surgery "sitting" with the number of doctors available at those times. Those with less urgent issues and greater flexibity can then drop-into the less popular or busy times

I can only confirm what most other reviewers have written, that this is an excellent surgery and we are extremely lucky to have it in our area. The practice manager and colleagues who run the surgery seem to do all the right things and, equally importantly, seem to want to do the right things. The existence of the Patient Participation Group is an indicator of this and is surely very helpful. The medical staff with whom I have dealt (Dr. Price, Dr. Adams and the Practice nurses) are all superb. They are knowledgeable, courteous, welcoming, engaging - in essence, excellent at their jobs. It's a busy practice but I am always given the impression that I have all the time I need for my consultation or treatment. The service I have received has always been excellent in every way. There was a dip, some time ago, in the quality of service provided by the reception staff but this appears to have been addressed. At present, I don't feel that there is anything that needs changing or improving and I most certainly don't want outsiders, such as M.P.s, telling the surgery what to do! It is quite capable of changing with the times as necessary.
