A certain receptionist is extremely rude giving curt, terse responses to even the most simple query for example she smirked very deliberately when telling me I would have to wait several hours for a doctor to sign an urgent repeat for strong painkillers that had run out due to the surgery’s incompetence and still not having them ready after a week of waiting and it being a second visit to the surgery. Repeat prescriptions are often mismanaged and are either not ready after the 48 hours required (or a lot more!) or on several occasions the medicines issued have missed at least of of the medicines requested despite being told everything is in the bag. Appointments can only be booked a month in advance or you can attempt phoning in on the day in the morning (however it is unlikely anyone will actually pick up the phone) but this is extremely impractical with regard to organising child care and work arrangements at such short notice.
