I have phoned the surgery 3 times this week to try and arrange a routine appointment. Each time I am told there are no routine appointments avaialable and I can either come to the drop in centre (which I have used before and spent 4 hours waiting) or I can ring again the following day to see if any are available. Today I have been told no appointments for this week and to try again tomorrow to see if I can get one for next week. I don’t understand why I can’t have an appointment arranged for next week without having to ring every day to be told they can’t do it I work full time, and before you tell me I could go to a chemist I have already tried that and they said I need to see a GP. Also to be told from the receptionist that if I can’t wait then I should go to A&E is ridiculous. It’s time that someone looked at the appointment system which clearly isn’t working and made some improvements
