I arrived for the appointment checked in on touch screen, waited 30 minutes on 3/2/2015 4.50 pm for Dr Pradton, inquired of Dr Pradton was in the practice to find out that he was not, I was told that someone had recorded that they tried to phone to cancel the appointment but the phone was engaged. Problems. 1. Reception staff could have phoned again, or written or emailed or tried to advice or cancellation. 2. Surgery staff did not rearrange their appointment. 3. Touch screen did not alert a problem. 4. Reception staff did not check to see if patient were waiting for appointment which could be kept. Surgery admin could be improved.
