I don’t understand the purpose of the on-line appointment booking system. My experience is ‘there are no appointments available’. For example, this morning (6th Sept) there appears to be one appointment available on 20th September. Presumably a date later than this is beyond the scope of your diary. I have arrived at the surgery in times without number to find that there are at least a dozen waiting for the surgery to open. I thought that the booking system was designed to avoid this eventuality. The system has become somewhat nuanced by the ‘walk-in’ system. I suggest that the lie which is telephone booking be scrapped.
