The receptionist on duty was totally disinterested in acknowledging that I was waiting for attention. She fiddled with her hair, went off to talk to some one, came back and chatted to a couple of passing women. After over 5 mins at the head of a small queue of patients (the second receptionist was busy) she finally asked if she could help me. It is disappointing that the 'face' of the surgery does not represent the care and attention offered by the medical staff. I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and have been very impressed by the local organization - referrals to the various services available and helpful doctor and nurse with information.
