My recent experience for my covid booster was efficient, friendly and speedy
My past experiences requesting appointments or telephone consultations have always been well met
I do have ongoing health issues, but feel lucky to be under the care of the Henfield surgery
I have no faults with the god and staff who work at the medical centre. When needed they are helpful. Getting an appointment isn’t always easy but the staff will do their best to try and accommodate people.
I haven’guven one because I was diagnosed with chest infection .Am on steroids and antibiotics a nd will have jabs when over this . I am 89 and have other attending probs . I was treated very well and had opinion and script straightaway . Sorry for typos. Ha ve MD in both eyes .
I am convinced that virtual consultations are more likely to result in some missed accurate diagnoses and patients becoming more ill and needing greater care in the long run. We have experience of this in our own family. It’s still extremely difficult to see a medical practitioner when not an emergency but a debilitating problem; however I understand that this is a countrywide issue which can only be solved by more training and retention of GPs. It’s important that the Medical Centre does not appear to be a fortress keeping out the patients who need it; there is some improvement now, thank you.
