The whole appointments process needs a re-design. Automate the process so people can book on line more easily. There seems to be an on line booking service but this involves filling in a paper form and physically taking it to the surgery so that someone will contact me at a later date - ridiculous and outdated! Why not be able to register for this service on line, if you are already a patient at the surgery? Provide a greater variety of advance booking options - the current time slots are much too limited and it is crazy to have to call for an on the day appointment for a non urgent issue. Provide more transparency in the process by putting the details of the appointment booking process, available appointment times, etc, on the web site clearly and keep the information up to date.
