My appointment today was made online, which is an excellent service for non-urgent appointments. Early appointments - mine was at 7.30 AM - are excellent. Appointments are now 15 minutes - up from 10 - much more satisfactory and less rushed. Although I'm told the telephone appointment system has improved I have yet to try it. The introduction of a paramedic for more general patient needs is a great idea but again I haven't experienced it. I saw Dr Napier today as he was the first available doctor for an online appointment when I made it. Dr Bramall is my regular doctor. Dr Napier delt speedily with the reason for my appointment and made recommendations, which I shall adopt. He also reviewed my medication - increasing my Statin dose from 20 to 40 mg - and arranged for a liver & kidney function blood test. The receptionist was welcoming, caring and efficient. Improvements: Keep asking patients for feedback and suggestions as you have done here.
