The nurses at Greystone House are fantastic. Teresa Meeke was really kind, nice patient and understanding about my needle phobia. The phlebotomist Caroline Smith was also brilliant and my blood test with her was very comfortable, I could hardly feel the needle at all. Again, she was very understanding about my phobia. The receptionists are mostly very pleasant and helpful except for an occasional impatient one. If I am being completely honest, my experience with the doctors has been less positive. One doctor didn't phone me for my telephone appointment, despite the fact I know that the correct phone number had been given. Another doctor was bordering on rude to me, telling me to stop asking questions, and a third made a number of snap judgements about me. There also appears to be a slight communication problem sometimes, in that incorrect information is given out, or you are told contradictory things by different members of staff. But perhaps that is common in any large practice. I can remember when Greystone House only had five doctors (in it's original building) and I have to say things did seem to run a little more smoothly then, and Dr Watson, Dr Wilson and Dr Aslett were always so very helpful. (Dr Aslett I know is still working at this practice.) Shame things have gone downhill a little bit since then.
