This surgery is despicable and just rapidly going downhill. Horrible staff! I only gave one star because I had to or my review would no send. This place is a NO star service! I saw a consultant in December who copied me into a letter he had sent out to my doctor at Greenview Surgery. My letter arrived early in January as I am sure was the same for the surgery. It gave instructions about a change to my prescription. I sent a prescription request on MONDAY morning and then today, THURSDAY afternoon went to the chemist to pick up my prescription...there was nothing there for me. The surgery had not bothered to put my request through as they said they knew nothing about the change to my prescription so were not responding to my request. It is funny that I have a letter myself at home, a COPY of the letter that the Consultant had sent to both of us...but they refused to give me my prescription, even though it is the surgery that is at fault. They received the same letter from the hospital that I did! I needed my prescription today, which I explained to the receptionist. She told me to scan my letter through to them. I did and asked that they let me know if my prescription would be at the chemist today (there was still time for them to put it through for me) but NO response from the surgery and I have NOT got my prescription! I ran out of what I requested today and my prescription should have been there for me to collect I have been left with no idea when it will be available for me to collect. The staff just can't be bothered. Useless and ignorant!

Suggested improvements
Everything! It is demanded that patients show respect to the doctors and admin staff at the surgery, but I would like to know where the respect is for patients? Especially when they are at fault. They are just rude, dismissive and show a complete lack of patient care. Some patient care training is required for staff as there is no care at Greenview Surgery. I am a parent to a young child and need to ensure that I am feeling as well possible but how is that possible when the people who are supposed to be helping you...are not?! And what is the point of sending patients messages via the surgery Systmonline account...if the patients are not even made aware that a message has been sent?! That makes no sense. I was sent a message on Tuesday from a nurse that I knew absolutely nothing about! It was just sitting there unread for two days. I only found out about it after I went to my chemist and then went home and logged into the surgery account to try to find out why my prescription was missing. An email, or a quick telephone call or a text that I would have been aware of immediately would have been a wiser choice I think. The surgery needs an overhaul where staff are concerned. They only care about themselves. The patients are an afterthought. I actually hate this surgery and feel that it is time to leave. What if it had been my young daughter left without a prescription and no help? That could be the situation that I am dealing with next time.
