I have hadno problems with the surgery until today. I have phoned 19 times now and keep getting " the surgery is now closed", it states on the web site it opens at 8.30. Im really coofused. Doctors are outstanding.

Reception staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. If you are standing at the desk they will steadfastly ignore you until they are good and ready. I appreciate they can be busy and not always able to attend to you immediately but if they would just acknowledge they had seen you it would be helpful rather than avoiding eye contact at all costs. GP's apparently are opposed to prescribing anything at all and, again, I appreciate the attempts to get to the root of a problem rather than just prescribe but I resent being harangued at a clearly inappropriate time and the insinuation that you are one step away from being a junkie because you need something to help with your entirely debilitating symptoms. All staff would benefit from a course in public relations. Maybe one for your next CREATE session.
