This is the second time I have made an appointment only to be told on arrival at the surgery that the doctor was off sick and that they had left a message on my answerphone phone cancelling the appointment.
Both times (the latest today) on returning home there was no message on my answerphone (which I fully expected as I had been at home prior to the appointment on both occasions and the phone did not ring).
I find these lies unacceptable from a presumably professional practice.
