It is getting more and more difficult to get an appointment. Either by telephone or internet you are likely to find all are already filled - the only way is to turn up at 8.30 and join the queue. You might have to hang around much of the day for an appointment, with a doctor you have never seen before, who doesn't know your medical history, and only has ten minutes to deal with your problem. The " regular " doctors seem always absent, either on maternity leave, on holiday, or attending a conference, leaving the surgery in the hands of doctors who will have moved by the next time you need them. I am left with the feeling that the surgery is starving to death compared to other surgeries in the area.
