What a shameful service. Can only ring between certain hours for prescription requests, not everyone has the ability to do this, some of us have jobs! When eventually I got through, the receptionist said she would return my call to confirm prescription raised and sent to pharmacy (this was an emergency request as my mother is in Hospital and they cannot supply the item required) guess what, no phone call. So after at least 10 attempts from 15:00 onwards, in a call holding with dreadful classical drivel for 5 minutes or more, I am nowhere near getting the prescription. Not acceptable by any means. If a return call is offered, then the receptionists should stick to their promises and keep people informed. So now, I am unable to collect a prescription to take to the hospital tonight to give to an 86 year old lady who is confined to her bed and worrying about what is wrong with her. Her prescription is of great concern to her and totally necessary.

Cant understand why people complain if your not happy leave but I can assure you all doctors are the same. I never had a problem and found all the Doctors helpful. My doctor is Dr Dale who is amazing but I have often seen others. So all you moaners get a life park up the road and walk this is the nhs if you want personal service go private.

Awful surgery. Very nearly impossible to get an appointment. Receptionists an appalling attitude problem. 'Purportedly' rushed off their feet, but always time for a social chat amongst themselves with the radio in the background. Patient care? An irritating irrelevance. Doctors themselves a weird mismatch. All very dismissive and uninterested in my opinion. Looking to get you back out the door, before you have even entered their rooms. The surgery building itself(although architecturally and historically beautiful) is completely unsuited to a Drs practice and is also dirty and sticky.

Parking is abysmal and the presumed office manager, equally so, if not worse. (Blonde haired lady with glasses). On a busy morning you should leave yourself half an hour at least for parking time. The "office manager" chooses when she wants to be friendly to patients - can be helpful but does not give the caring customer service you would expect at a medical practice. I am not speaking of first hand experience only, I have witnessed her attitude to others too. I was recently at the surgery and there was a queue of patients. She was sat behind the reception desk, on the computer. It was a very busy morning and the other poor receptionist working next to her was dealing with all the patients. There was about a queue of 8. She received no help at all. Even if the office manager had admin work to do, you would think that she would assist her colleague at extremely busy times. It would have been in the best interest for everyone. I find it so hard to book in appointments, and when you try to work with the receptionist on the phone to find something that also suits yourself as well as the practice, you are responded to with an annoyed voice. The Doctor's at this practice are incredible and are the only reason I haven't moved surgery, after all they are the ones who look after the patients - it's just a shame the team running the practice make visiting the practice very unpleasant.

To get through in the morning to book an emergency appointment is almost impossible. Today it took me 96 calls until got through. Even if you get through sooner the system crashes and your called just being lost And it seems the appointments always running late. Normally I wait around 10-20 minutes.
