Frankly speaking the staff at reception not all of them… one off the member staff very rude and unpleasant unprofessional…. Doesn’t try help ext plus the letters are for GP only not for staff to read !!!! Is time to change if ppl don’t like the job …. Please management of Finaghy Health Centre keep your staff trained…Respect is owed… and manners comes for free

Impossible to get through to surgery without spending (often) hours on phone. Often placed into a queue then disconnected. Described as a 'free for all' by one of their own receptionists.

Suggested improvements
Provide compassionate, professional care and respect during interactions. Allocate times for call-backs rather than expecting carers and professionals to be able to sit by a phone 'anytime from 8:30am on' for a single callback.

Unbelievable changes in attitudes from both practice staff and doctors within recent years, perhaps related to the pandemic, who knows. Doctors who used to be so helpful are now so nasty, and so set in their ways,.it's almost as if talking to their patients is a drama and hardship in itself. I no longer feel supported by a team I used to feel supported by and it's a very sad state of affairs to let previous excellence drop to complete and utter dissatisfaction. It has now got to the point where I dread having to speak to the doctor as I no longer know how they will react and it's just as if they're at the end of their tether. A shame really, a practice that was once an absolute gem of a place with exceptional workers has turned into a horrible place to set foot in and to now be scared to ask for help.

Suggested improvements
It takes so long to get through on the phone lines in the mornings to request a call back and once you finally get through you're told the doctor has reached their maximum quota for the day. Then in the afternoon you're left to doubt yourself as.to needing to speak to a doctor is a medical emergency and you are hugely pressurised into making this decision on the spot. When your call is finally returned you're made to feel like a pest and that you're holding up the entire system. For people who suffer with anxiety and depression it only heightens their symptoms
